Turchette Receives 2017 CITY AWARD for its World Wide Packaging Marketing/Advertising Innovation Campaign

Turchette recently received a CITY (Cosmetic Innovator of the Year) AWARD from the ICMD, Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers & Distributors, a non profit trade associated which annually recognizes the most creative new products, package designs, and innovative marketing programs in the cosmetics and personal care industries. The award was based on an inspirational ad campaign for World Wide Packaging (WWP), geared at making adults rethink their outlook on life.  “The Time to Dream Again” campaign is an emotionally evocative 3-part ad series featuring the imaginative play of children to illustrate that, with creative thinking, anything is possible.  Each ad shows how a child imagines the world and just because an adult grows up, doesn’t mean they can’t dream anymore.

The ICMAD presented 12 awards to companies that exceeded in creativity, entrepreneurship, and charitable giving during the 2017 Cosmetic Innovator or the Year (CITY) Awards. The CITY Awards, founded in 1995 by ICMAD, is the highest accolade in the independent beauty industry and gold-standard award for breakthrough beauty products and innovative marketing campaigns. During the ceremony, all the CITY Awards finalists were recognized for their ingenuity and tireless efforts to make the industry stronger through their creative contributions. The CITY Awards dinner was held on July 10, 2017, during Cosmoprof North America at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

Trade Print Ad for Fujitsu General America Wins Advertising Excellence Award

The Fujitsu trade print ad in the June 26th issue of The ACHR News (created by Turchette) received an Advertising Excellence Award.  According to an Advertising Readership “Recall” Study conducted by ADScore Publication Research, the Fujitsu ad entitled “Lacking the Right Equipment to Hit Your Goal?” was among the top 6 ads noticed by readers.  Respondents reported that the ad was informative and made a positive impact on their impression of the company.

Turchette Launches New Website via HubSpot for Paragon Solutions

Turchette was tasked by Paragon Solutions, a leading IT and business solutions provider, to create a thorough brand assessment and refresh their corporate identity.  After the fall rebrand, Paragon hired Turchette as their Agency of Record to help design and develop a new user-friendly, responsive website incorporating their new branding elements.  This past week, the site went live.  The colorful, eye-popping home page is fully-loaded with dynamic content that touts Paragon’s expertise in health and life sciences.  Right from the home page, site visitors can see the latest insights, news and case studies — and click thru to view their four main consulting services — commercial, corporate & enterprise, quality & manufacturing and research & development. The consultparagon.com site was designed in HubSpot and contains a wide array of cool imagery, thought leadership and well-organized content.  It also contains an About Paragon section with a more robust Our Team page which makes it very easy to locate and reach out to their staff. Next year, Paragon has plans to introduce “smart content”.  As you may know, Hubspot allows you to dynamically change visuals and images on any page based on information known about the site visitor via their URL.  This content management strategy allows for a much more personalized user experience.  For anonymous visitors, you can trigger targeted content based on their country, how they found your site (social media, search engines, etc.), and what type of device they are using.

Turchette Hires Stephanie Garcia as Account Coordinator

Turchette, one of New Jersey’s leading brand marketing and public relations firms for more than 65 years, has hired Stephanie Garcia to the position of Account Coordinator. In this role, Ms. Garcia will have a supporting role in each of the agency’s marketing disciplines, including advertising creation and placement, proactive public relations, website development and social media services.

Ms. Garcia has had several marketing internships and positions, and has experience in media relations, account management and development, event planning, social media, research and content generation. Her diverse background includes work with The New York Daily News, Columbia University, 5W Public Relations and experience with special event coordination. Most recently, she served as marketing intern at Turchette while completing her undergraduate degree.

Ms. Garcia received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Journalism from Seton Hall University graduating Magna Cum Laude from the College of Communication and the Arts.
