The veterans parachute battalion, made up of veteran paratroopers, are participating in a parachute jump into Normandy, France, to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of  Operation Overlord.

To help the group in this endeavor, the creative team at Turchette donated their time to create a video describing the mission, the history behind the organization and the commemoration of the D-day invasion.

To commemorate Operation Overlord in 1944, during which American and allied paratroopers dropped behind enemy lines ahead of the amphibious assault on the French beachhead, more than 300 veterans will parachute into Normandy this June 5. The jump is to commemorate the sacrifices of those who willingly risked their lives to ensure freedom in Europe.

With a rich history of bravery and sacrifice dating back to World War II, paratroopers have long been an integral part of American military operations around the world. The Veterans Parachute Battalion is dedicated to honoring this legacy.
