From May 13-14th, 2010, the company held its Annual MES User Conference at the Westin Governor Morris Inn in Morristown, New Jersey. This event also coincided with the 10th Anniversary of the founding of Werum’s US Headquarters. With that in mind, Werum asked Turchette to plan and execute an event worth of this special occasion. As their full-service agency, our team was perfectly suited for the challenge.

Turchette has coordinated Werum’s America’s User Conferences for the past ten years in a variety of locations throughout the New York Metro Area, but this year’s event had to be something truly memorable. After on-site scouting of multiple venues and evaluating a range of event components, the plan began to take shape. Invitations were designed and sent to global pharmaceutical executives, while meetings took place with hotel managers, event coordinators, chefs, bakers, musicians, florists, audio-visual specialists, promotional vendors, guest speakers, and photographers.

The result? Attendees reported that the dinner and all-day conference was the most impressive event in the company’s 40-year history. Dozens of attendees came from around the world to share in the party, network with peers, share real-world pharmaceutical manufacturing experiences, listen to industry speakers including a former FDA expert, and to see the latest advances in software that will help global pharma and biotechnology companies on a path toward enhanced productivity.
