Ooka Island Inc. Hires Turchette to Launch New Early Literacy Program

Ooka Island Inc., a Canadian-based educational company, has retained Turchette Advertising to develop and implement a U.S. marketing communications plan to support the launch of its online early literacy program, specifically designed for children ages 3-7.   Turchette will be responsible for all U.S. print and digital advertising, public relations and social media.  Ooka Island will also call upon Turchette to guide the design/development of their new website, corporate video and overall marketing strategies.

Ooka Island is committed to using science-based reading methods and technology to increase literacy skills in young children. Their goal is to teach children to read fluently and well through reading instruction that is both fun and compelling.  Their new online reading program is called Ooka Island Adventure and is set to launch in September of 2011.
